on 12 and 13 June this year found the Rose and Garden Days in the Rose Garden Zweibrücken instead. The Rose Quilter were asked to exhibit in a tent some quilts.
I was yesterday afternoon. The weather was very modest, but like a lot of people were there.

Unbloked Dirtbike Games
Environment Week
Since 1972, the fifth June annual World Environment Day. This was also celebrated in Terra Mirim. On the occasion of World Environment Day was from 31.05-05.06 the "Environment Week" are offered for children and young people of the region.
for Youth was executed a week in a competition for schools. Five schools Tales Itamboatá sent their teams. For the children there was a small Rundfuehrung in Terra Mirim and some other activities.
Monday morning, the 32.05 began the fun. Despite the teachers' strike and closure of schools, all young people were on time at the start. Already in vorherein was prepared in the schools a lot. Including, for example, a battle cry, posters, a planet, and much more. All these things were presented on the first day of the jury (which I found myself under too) evaluated. This evaluation was not easy, as all the teams are really overworked and trying to collect points.
Later in the morning were shown videos and many questions asked about the environment in which the teams could score points. Even small games have been carried out, which always was laughing a lot.
Tuesday was the day of the children. Due to the teachers strike, unfortunately, came only a few of the young students. With those who came to Terra Mirim, a small tour of the nursery and in the bees has been made, then where each child was allowed to try a drop of honey. Also, the compost and "worm farm" were admired ausiebig.
In a walk then went outside from official land was Terra Mirim, the Fonte da Guia (a source that takes care of the Mirim Terra). There we were met by live music by the band Natural and the children planted two native trees, which then jointly gave a name. On the way songs were sung for nature, a few small videos viewed (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPvk8K4K8oY) and a poster with objects of nature painted. At the end there was cocoa and cookies and then it went back into the villages.
